Precise Process Monitoring

The orcinus orca is a maintenance-free temperature control system designed to monitor water flow rate and temperature while operating at temperatures up to 356°F (180°C). This advanced system features dual ultrasonic sensors that provide precise, contactless flow rate measurement. Its filter-free design eliminates routine filter maintenance, reducing service requirements while enhancing system reliability.

The orcinus orca also enhances our systems’ temperature monitoring capabilities. While our water temperature control systems already deliver precise temperature regulation, the orcinus orca adds highly accurate, non-contact flow measurement using dual ultrasonic sensors. It determines flow rate by measuring the difference in transit time of ultrasonic signals traveling with and against the direction of water flow, providing precise, reliable measurements without introducing components into the flow path.

Designed for operating temperatures up to 212°F (100°C), the orcinus smartshark delivers continuous process monitoring in a compact footprint. By providing real-time measurement of temperature, flow rate, and pressure, it helps improve process efficiency and optimize cycle times. The smartshark also features an intuitive ball valve design that enables quick, convenient manual shutoff for added operational flexibility.

Both systems can be installed as standalone solutions or seamlessly integrated with Mokon’s water temperature control systems, providing the flexibility to meet a wide range of manufacturing applications and process requirements.
