For the month of November, we’re shining our Employee Spotlight on Thomas Boliver, Welder.
Thomas has been part of the Mokon family for about 13 years. Over that time, he’s grown and cemented his abilities and skills as a welder. These include inspecting for potential defects to make sure specifications are met, monitoring the welding process to avoid any parts from overheating or warping, and helping to build temperature control systems.
Thomas describes his job as a welder and what he does on a day-to-day basis as “enjoyable fun.” Additionally, what he enjoys about his work is that it’s “never the same.” We’d say that’s an incredibly accurate description since he’s had a hand in helping manufacture a wide range of temperature control systems, from chillers and oil-based to water and full range units. It requires adaptation, dedication, and flexibility, and they’re some of the reasons why we’re so happy to have Thomas as part of Mokon.
Outside of his work at Mokon, Thomas has a passion for drag racing. He also enjoys golf and spending time with his family whenever he can.
