For the month of October, our employee spotlight shines on Ray Cracknell, Senior Engineer.
Ray has been part of the Mokon team for 33 years, and over those three-plus decades, he’s held various roles. From building Mokon units to running production and participating in the engineering process, Ray has done it all.
In his day-to-day work as Senior Engineer, Ray designs Iceman Chiller Systems and Full Range Product Lines, and he collaborates with production during builds. He also helps test and program the Mokon systems to ensure the customer receives a quality, well-built product.
Within his work, Ray most enjoys that “no two days or designs are the same. A new challenge awaits daily. It keeps it interesting.” He finds it fulfilling to “change refrigerants a couple of times, which requires learning from our suppliers what the market demands.” He says this leads to “many hours of researching and learning the operation of many new components.”
Outside of Mokon, Ray likes to attend or watch sporting events and take part in anything that gets him outdoors.
